FEBRUARY 2004

Welcome to the Davison Highley February Newsletter.

The theme this month is Standard Collection - Unusual Finishes

One of the delights of having the reputation of being extremely flexible, is that our clients never hesitate to use their imagination.

They are always aware that we can vary dimensions and conformation, finishes, and even ergonomics, to suit any required application.

In short, we are not completely precious about our designs, and we do appreciate that our clients are there to satisfy the end-users, not our Egos !

Going through the workshops during January were a batch of our Chatterbox sofas which we were asked to upholster in faux Leopardskin and Tiger fabric for the discotheque on the new Super-Liner "Pride of America".

It must be something in the air, because during January we were not only asked to produce Chits and Chats in Spotty fabric, Crocus with a blue flower fabric, but also a variation on our Settle Bench with an arm added to one end and upholstered in a the unusual geometric patterned fabric you can see here.

February and March look as though they will be the busiest months ever in the history of Davison Highley, and then of course on April 1st we will be celebrating 25 years since we moved the business out to High Wycombe and Rolls Upholstery Limited became Davison Highley Limited.

And just to tempt you, here is a sneak preview of something special that we are making in white leather...
