JUNE 2005

Those of you with long memories will recall that when I launched the DH Collection all those hundreds of years ago, the very first design in the brochure was called EXPRESS.

The idea at the time was to have a straightforward design for which we could keep standard elements in stock, and thus produce sofas and chairs on a very short lead-time. The proposition worked well, and we have now decided to develop and update the concept to cover a selection from the Davison Highley range.

We are calling this service Davison Highley Fast Track.

We plan to confidently offer Fast Track designs on a 4 week lead-time, subject to selection of stock upholstery coverings....and the models we have selected are:

Crocus
  Expo &
Classic
  Gallery
& Settle
  Reflection
  Brescia

...and all of the standard size clear glass Arc Ali tables.

Tables….that reminds me… I wanted to include this photograph of a Double Amoeba coffee table with an attractive combination of solid colour and clear glass tops to inspire you.

By the time you read this newsletter, the new Solid Colour Table photographs and all the options will be on the website, so have a look at the updates here.

Summer seems to be with us at last and of course that is the sign for a large proportion of Britain and all of Italy to clear off on holiday.

We, like the “The Windmill”, never close, preferring to phase our summer breaks so that there is always a team here at Davison Highley to look after our valued clients.

HOWEVER… many of our suppliers will be shutting down so if you have any requirements for furniture during August and September, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can get the materials organised in good time.
