JANUARY 2006

A belated Happy New Year to all of our clients and friends.

We returned from the break to a full schedule and I am delighted to say that we have heaps of fantastic work to look forward to in the coming year.

Just before the break we delivered and installed 2 projects at Heathrow.

The first was the 2nd Phase of the new Virgin Upper Class lounge which we hope to show you photographs of next Month after the official opening.

This order encompassed 8 different areas and designs of furniture for us.

The 2nd was for British Airways, who took delivery of 20 x very high back sofas for their First Class Lounges in fabric and leather, and we are currently building them a special bespoke 6m long curved sofa for the 1st Class Reception.

"You did say to make it a very high back ?"

Not our usual sort of thing, but just before Christmas we were also asked if we would like to develop and make a client chair in Oak and Leather for Burberry showrooms.
Of course we were happy to assist one of our regular clients.

The first batch of 60 have just been delivered to Paris and we understand that our chair will eventually be used throughout their stores Europe-wide.

....and to demonstrate that the DH
"Standard Collection" can be even more special, here is our Classic armchair shown in a combination of Knoll Fabric and ElmoSoft leather.
....while another client asked us to make our BRESCIA design with a slimmer back and loose cushions.

"Hmmm ! Quite like it actually !"

As I have commented before, it is strange that for no apparent reason, certain designs suddenly come "into fashion" and this week is no exception as we have received orders for our Mulberry design on no less than six different projects in the last few days.

Have a great year .... we are going to.
