FEBRUARY 2007

Well we have had an amazing start to the year, and the trend seems set to continue.

I am delighted to say that our new 50s INSPIRATION chair has been very well received, drawing more positive comment and feedback than we could have hoped for.

Thank you all for your kind comments.
We have already completed a number of orders, and the chair has been selected for the front cover of the current issue of MIX magazine.
I am also especially pleased that the chair has been specified and ordered for the current re-design of the Royal Festival Hall.

As you will see from our web-site at www.davisonhighley.co.uk/sofas-armchairs/50sinspiration.html and in the press, this design was developed in conjunction with CONRAN & Partners, who have shown terrific support for us and who are also specifying our brand new, as yet un-launched, SALON sofa (below) on an upcoming project.

The Davison Highley SALON sofa will be launched into our Collection in April.

STOP PRESS

We are pleased to reveal that the VIRGIN Atlantic Club Lounge won Best of Show at the DESIGN WEEK Awards last week.

Davison Highley supplied over 100 elements of project-specific bespoke upholstery for this exciting space. We are very proud to be associated with designers SOFTROOM and with VIRGIN Atlantic, (for whom we are currently developing another project).

The Black Box, you will recall, is our glimpse into the future.
A veritable fountain of new concepts and designs which we are considering for potential development. We think you should book your own personal presentation, and view a fresh selection of new designs each month.

It’s a great mutual opportunity. The design department here at Davison Highley is continually coming up with new ideas, so why don’t you work with us to produce something fresh and special?

Perhaps even jointly design some building-specific furniture, such as the radical chairs that we are currently developing with MAKE Architects for the stunning new building 55 Baker Street.

Thank you all for your continued support of our all-British design and manufacture.

Barry Davison
