Channel 5
I am not normally one to watch the News on TV as there is rarely anything uplifting, but this week has been an exception!
When presenter Natasha Kaplinski was given the prestigious Channel 5 News, Davison Highley were invited to assist with the design and manufacture of a new and distinctive sofa for the set.
They came to us because of the success of our cutting-edge set furniture for BBC Breakfast, BBC Sport, Newsnight, The Politics Show, and others, and it has to be said that HD Television is going to make it even more important that the detailing is considered and excellent.

Watch the C5 News if you get a moment, and then compare the result with some of the furniture on the other early evening shows.

Terminal 5
As we all wait for the official opening of the new British Airways Terminal 5 building in March, we were given an early opportunity to have a tour of the completed project and see the many hundreds of items of furniture that we supplied for the Club and First Class areas of the building.
It is an absolutely stunning project and we are proud to have been involved in such an important element of it.
You will recall, in the September Newsletter,
the story of the Captains Chair...

...but there also were several other new designs of ours which were selected for use in the Club Lounges.
One of these is our West-Side family of sofas, armchairs, and run-ups.
West-Side is scheduled to be included in our collection with a Summer launch for the new model.
Here is a little preview for you.
